If your organisation has a large reliance on temporary and contract workers, you may have considered appointing company to manage this on your behalf. If you have researched the subject, you may have heard the terms Master vendor and Neutral vendor, but do you know what the key differences are?
Generally speaking, a Master Vendor is a recruitment agency that has full responsibility for filling vacancies, throwing the rest out to a second tier of agencies. A Neutral Vendor is responsible for managing vacancies on behalf of a client but is not a recruitment agency. Rather than filling vacancies themselves they partner with a client’s existing suppliers to maintain neutrality.
